The Federal Electric Type L

Mon Jan 04, 2016 1:08 am

I was doing my traditional eBay browsing, and I found this gem...what appears to be the oldest Model L in existence! I have no interest in purchasing this siren, so I thought it would be pretty cool to see. (that motor housing though...)

Hehe, me and and you saw that siren almost at the same moment then.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

Now that's cool. It's got a 50s look to it.

I had two L's from that generation. One went to Brent Willcox and I am actually not sure where my other went. I know I gave a brand new A to JKvernon and perhaps also the L. I also have a B9 sitting in my parents' garage somewhere.

Did the motor housing look like this one?
