...Sirens from Decot Engineering Works are very uncommon... here's the former factory site area: https://goo.gl/maps/pJPfmsakpSm
Ironic, there's a Federal Signal 2001-130 there. It's like they claimed the land as if it was a flag.

Interesting... didn't know that. Is it true that these are really as loud as a T-128 facing you? I see that all the time in youtube comments but that seems kind of unlikely. I wonder if this is still active. It isn't anywhere near me so I can't record it anytime soon.
The Red Arrows are very loud sirens but I wouldn't say they're like a T-128. The Red Arrow's sound is very shrill while every T-128 I've heard was bassy. I haven't heard a later Decot Two Tone siren in service but I would imagine they are also very loud.

I was hoping someone would notice that. ;)

I'm sorry about replying to an older post, but Sebeka, MNs Decot is no longer active according to their public works. I have them a ring a while back and asked them about it. He said that it's inactive due to motor issues, but said that if they do repair it, he would definitely give me a call back to let me know. He also said that they have a newer, battery backed siren that had "Just gone off" when I called them, which might suggest that it's a nooner.

I don't think this is a 95. It looks like it's just a regular old Model 5 that someone decided to customize a little. The chopper looks too big, and there's too many ports. There's even a video of a 95 in Wisconsin. You can see the differences in that video.
Where is that video?

There was a mistake in identifying the siren; the siren in the video was recently found out to be a Darley Champion, I believe.

Guess who's necroing this thread again?
I took a peek at the MN Siren Map, and it turns out the mystery siren in Sebeka is just totally gone.

Maybe this is a new mystery, I wonder what happened to it. Is it worth shooting the city an email to inquire about it, or should I not bother?

Sorry for the bump folks.
I believe you should contact the city about it. Although they might tell you to "Shut up, we don't care about this old piece of scrap metal," it's still worth taking the chance.

This siren was confirmed by a member of this board to have been scrapped years ago. Someone had Identified it as a Klaxon of some type, rather than an actual ACA product.. It is, however, long gone.

Well… that’s unfortunate. Sad to see it go.
