Looks like either a model 5/7 with custom housing or a beefed up ACA Cyclone.
The only upside down Cyclones were distibuted to Asia. It's a siren, but that motor and sutch makes me think it's a HOR. That small box on the left side of the motor looks like a capacitor box. If true, then that'll rule Federal out of the equasion.
HOR sirens are definitely rare. Ohio has a plethora of them, and Michigan has a few as well. Really hoping to record one some time. Not getting to texas anytime soon so I won't be able to see this one

There was a siren I used to hear at my house, but I could never identify the exact model. I knew it was coming from a volunteer fire station exactly 2.9 miles away (as the crow flies, per GPS), but I could never actually see the siren when I drove by the station. Last night I was FINALLY able to see it from one particular vantage point on Google Street View, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. My best guess is a Federal Signal STH-10. Am I right?
