For some reason, the siren I meant is mounted on what's look like a streetlight pole, seems metal-ish.

Read the top left corner of the controller. It says Sodatron Telementary. I have a feeling that's the manufacturer. That pole is a standard steel pole which will have to be be tsunami proof as the siren on top of it will be warning of a tsunami up until it hits.

Is this even a Model 5? Looks like someone beat the heck out of it and put it back together.
It's definitely a Model 3 or up, judging by the bar on the top of it. The shrouds probably rusted away, since it's on vacant property.

Kind of weird how they put legs on it when they could have just mounted it directly to the roof.

Alright, now I found the siren's manufacturer, E2S and its website, here : http://www.e2s.com/products/wide-area-signalling
That siren is Model A141.

We have re-acquired our first and only electric siren. We are looking for any information about the unit. It was loaned to another community in the 80s. Want to restore and display.

That's a Sterling K-5 (or maybe a K-2, judging from the size of this particular unit) siren.

... excuse me? I have searched all over this board for the town this siren its in and nothing of it ever comes up.
Wait was that aimed at me?
I'm saying that I've seen that picture at least 3 times on this thread. No one really know who made these.
I'm surprised that you would take offence at something that isn't aimed at anybody, it's just me exclaiming the fact that that picture has found its way back on here.
....oh, sorry. I honestly had no idea.

That does appear to be a Sterling K-2 as previously mentioned. Let me know where you are located, we offer complete siren refurbishment services and can get your siren looking like new. We primarily do work in the Southwest Missouri area, but it could also likely be shipped out.
