It's not active, people just like to post pictures of inactive sirens on the ground in this thread.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

Oops that is not a thunderbolt, that is a duct of some sort. I just looked and found the 2001 on PC.

i couldn't zoom in far enough to tell for sure but it looks like a sterling vertical siren of some kind a K-5 or 2V8 perhaps

This Federal 2T22 is in Girardville, Pa at the Ranger Hose Company, it is used as a fire siren which boggles my mind for the people who live around it... that is a really low pole for such a big siren to be mounted on.

There is a video by Burnoie of a T-bolt that is mounted on a VERY low hill. You will notice them running RIGHT up to it despite the fact that the horn is literally at EAR LEVEL to them. Oh yeah,did I mention that they don't wear ear plugs?
