Found this neat article about emergency preparedness near the Comanche Peak nuclear power plant which is southwest of Ft. Worth, Texas. They have a system of Federal Thunderbeams.

Most, if not all, of the Thunderbeams have been replaced with 2001s. It must be an older document.
