that's pretty epic! I'll be looking forward to seeing municipalities with these in the future.

These new sirens look really intriguing, I wonder how they will compare to some of the other electronics on the market today. Judging by the quality of the other products that Sentry makes, I am sure that these will be reliable and well built though. The one thing that intrigues me is the logo at the bottom of the spec sheet that says "power by HyperSpike". Are these new sirens a joint venture with HyperSpike PA systems or is it a re-brand? The VR series looks almost identical to the MA-1 speaker from HyperSpike. Either way, the HyperSpike looks to be a really high quality product so combined with Sentry's engineering it should make a rock solid giant voice system. I can't wait to see these out in the field, it is always nice to see a new siren on the market :).

those are the hyperspike series speakers, with what i can only assume is sentry's own controller. i'm betting we will see something sounding similar to whelens controllers.

Wow, these look like they should be successful! I hope the design works.

Oh my goodness, it looks like the largest model can put out as much as 148 dB! Louder than a Chrysler it looks like! What about the smaller models?

And what if it got horns? Could +1 dB, though... Basically a slight change could beat the record.

I guess I knew why Sentry didn't put horns on those. Being hornless probably to clear speech.

And sometimes the launch of a new siren model is like the launch of a new iPhone among us, Siren Enthusiasts, though...

I don't know. That seems kind of like an outlandish claim to me since they also say "up to 1.0 mile effective range" on their website. Usually, sirens that cover a one-mile radius are rated a bit lower than 130 dB.

I personally think it's a tad weird that they made electronic sirens. Not weird in a bad way but like. I guess different? ANYWAY. This is probably going to work out really good. I've always known this company for there mechanical sirens. But hey new times mean new trials. Maybe were gonna see some change here? Plus this is a sight for sore eyes. We don't see MANY new siren types. The only ones I've really seen are the 508s and the FS equinox. Those are really the only new ones I've seen. That's just my opinion. Either way. Good luck to the Sentry team! amirite?

Wasn't there a post a while back on here about these speakers and people were talking about how they would make great electronic sirens? I'm guessing Sentry got the inspiration to make these from them. Either way, it's cool that someone is finally using these to make sirens. Seems a bit weird though since Sentry said that mechanical sirens are far superior to electronic ones.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.
