Peninsula, OH does have a siren afterall

Mon Apr 23, 2018 7:48 pm

Peninsula, OH is one of the most popular places in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) For years I along with others have thought that this small town never had a siren. Well that's were you'd be wrong. At the Boy Scouts Camp Called "Camp Manatoc." When checking my EMail I noticed something that said "American Signal OM-120 in Peninsula." I was shocked that after all these years of thinking they never had a siren, to them having an ASC OM-120! The siren is located at an Administration Building called, "Camp Manatoc Reservation BSA." Lots of my friends go there and I now know they have a siren there. Based on the EMail, it is tested Every Day at Noon for a Short Alert. It is open to the public on the Weekend! This will definitely be a siren I'll be seeing in the near future.

NOTE: Test Times and Open to the public are not comfermed. This will be uptated when confermed!
