Frozen Thunderbeam

Fri Apr 06, 2018 9:10 pm

We have a single phase Thunderbeam that has frozen up and will be replaced with a Sentry 20V2T that is already here. The Thunderbeam will be going to the scrap yard unless some collector needs it. They are big and heavy.

So, what state is this in? Sorry if I sound ignorant but I have never seen this before. Also, Slaughter Rd? Interesting name. :P
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

If only I lived near Huntsville. I would like to get my hands on 4 or 5 sirens for my local FD to install in their district. Kind of a pipe dream of mind.

I understand that the reflector drive for the Thunderbeam is a problem.

I'm in GA and would be interested in getting it since I could probably come out there and get it and all that. Sorry for the kiddie post but I genuinely am interested
