well from the looks of it it seems to be at a nuclear plant or something like that. you would have to ask the owner

Might I remind the siren expert it has been debunked- it is the EOWS 812, not 816

I remember seeing that picture before and that siren was described as once being part of the alert system in Tonopah, Arizona for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station; about 50 miles west of Phoenix. The system was converted to ATIs a while back.

Forget what plant its from, but its from a Nuke plant in Arizona or New Mexico. EDIT: Whoops! Sorry. Didnt realize you had posted that.

Well, its a shame that they were replaced by ATI's, I do agree that ATI sirens might not be as good as some other sirens out there, however they are not as bad as some people say they are. I think this whole ATI sucks thing should stop, because at the end of the day, what are sirens made for? To save lives! And an ATI siren does its job well enough.

Also I forgot its the EOWS 812, not EOWS 816.
