I know of two. One's black and the other's yellow. Haven't been seen to change positions lately and I can't remember where they are. At least I know that they are sitting on a pole...somewhere.

If the yellow one is in Missouri (if memory serves), it's been replaced with a Whelen.

They look more like a modified EOWS 612 seeing that the horns are longer then a regular 408. Here is one that has since been replaced by a Modulator. https://www.flickr.com/photos/connors93 ... 121064384/

Logan Shelts has one that was a chop job from a 612.

That's normal, some models had recessed horns and some had normal ones.

Technically a 404 as there is only 1 driver per horn instead of two. A: he did it because 612s are huge when on the ground. A 408 is just about bigger than me. Secondly, a 408 is way more cool than a 612, as the 612 is very common. Thirdly, Logan's MCP has only one amplifier, so he can only run 4 drivers maximum without getting more amps for the controller.

Going back to the original post as far as we know in the community there aren't any left that are active. Most, if not all, of the ones that were once part of the Pilgrim plant were removed with the older 612s, 1212s, and 115s in the EPZ and replaced with Modulators or varying sizes, mostly with 5020s. The one in Litchfield, MN was indirectly replace with a 130 within the last few years. There are two still standing in Herrin, Illinois, although they're inactive. With the size of the town I suspect there might be another one or possibly more hanging around in the area. They were replaced by Whelen Vortexes.
