Plano Siren Upgrades/Replacements?

Hello all,
It seems the city of Plano is working on the Whelen 4008 replacements. Sirens 6, 9, 10 and 11 (the one with the missing back) were scheduled to be replaced this March (2017). Has anyone else reached out to Plano also? I'm curious to know, because I'm kind of hoping they keep the 4008s until they truly are obsolete. If they are replaced, parts will be available.
