Does anyone know what kinds of issues the units had? If the controls themselves kicked the bucket the head might still be usable if equipped with a controller from another manufacturer.
I think if memory serves me correct, Jason basically said that they were old, and didn't reach that far, and were hard to work with, for reasons I don't know (software? Radio Activation?) I also recall he said that the speakers are wearing out and basically, the Whelens are a better siren.
Hopefully, there is a good balance between the ATI's sold to us enthusiasts, and municipalities. In an earlier post, I posted that GP, TX gave their P-15s, and P-50s to VFDs.
