Very nice! Good score at a good price. I was going to ask the seller if they would sell just the RCM panel and enclosure. After it got bids I changed my mind. The RCM panel looks to be in very nice condition. It is in the rarer indoor enclosure. A Federal Sign & Signal, Chicago 19 Thunderbolt with a Federal Enterprises, Chicago 19 RCM it is probably a very early siren. Probably made just after the grid bar projector horn design went out.

Nice job!

congratulation's on winning that thunderbolt, i was bidding on it just for parts but got outbid and said screw it after it got over a 100$, as the seller was going to resell the rest of the siren anyway. have fun with your bolt. there nice to have.

Congratulations! One thing I find very peculiar about the Thunderbolts from Minneapolis: the "Federal Enterprises" tags always seem to be in impeccable condition! Can't wait to hear her roar!

Went up north this weekend to check on it and clean the blower, here's a quick video! https://youtu.be/PxNX1HMXTRs I'll be going back up in a few weeks so if anyone wants to see anything specific, let me know.

Very cool! Amazing to see those original schematics in that RCM.

Just an FYI, don't leave the RCM out in the weather like that- those original RCM enclosures were only designed to be mounted indoors, so they aren't waterproof. It'll also add to the deterioration of the schematics as well.

Already took care of that, put a tarp over the Thunderbolt and the RCM so it should be safe. But thanks nonetheless :D
