Re: What kind of Sirens have you seen?

Here are all the sirens I have seen:
Whelen wps 2903, I think
Whelen 2750, not sure
Federal Signal 500
Whelen vortex R4 with a fin
Asc t 128
Chocolate Thunderbolt
Modulator
Model 2
ATI Hpss 32
Whelen wps 4004
Though I’ve never heard one before, and I live in a suburb in New York, so can somebody tell me where I can hear one? I thought I would travel to Yorktown to catch one of the Indian Points ATIs in July.

Since I live in Springfield, Massachusetts, they don't really use sirens often (or at all). But I have seen 4 B&N Mobil Directos and the H.O.R. Super Si-Rex at Holyoke (when traveling somewhere), and a Model 5 in Georgia when I was driving back from Florida. Those are the only sirens I have personally seen in my life. I wish I can hear one go off. :(

Oh you saw it too! It looks much better than the last two times I saw it (each were 1 year ago). The horns look longer too... Maybe that's my eyesight playing up.
