New Mexico Sirens

I am taking a trip to Santa Fe, NM next week and I plan on getting some siren pictures and possibly a video. My question is, are there any sirens within a decent distance of Santa Fe that test regularly? I know they aren't as common in that area so I figured I'd give a shout on here to see if anyone has any information. Any info is greatly appreciated!

This isn't necessarily right next to Santa Fe, but it's on the right side of the state - are you going to be anywhere near Raton at some point? I ran across a (sadly inactive) Type B at their fire station.

I also found some scattered Model 2s in one-horse towns along and off of the US 87 corridor.

I remember seeing a Model 5 at one of Santa Fe's fire stations on Rte. 66.

Unless you're on the eastern side of New Mexico, there aren't many sirens in the state I'm aware of. Roswell is the largest city with a system. I assume you'll come in on IH-40. Tucumcari and Santa Rosa might have sirens, but I don't know. There is a Model 2 near Jemez Springs at the VFD. That'd be a nice scenic drive through the Jemez Mountains on NM-4.

Yeah we're taking I-40 west from the 81 junction in El Reno. I know about everything until the Texas border. After that is uncharted territory for me. I'd like to maybe catch a siren test but I don't know any testing schedules out that way.

There is a model 5 on a fire station. It is very low mounted, and I assume it is used for fire calls. It is next to a school and on the outskirts of town, on the side in which Chimayo is.

There is a Thunderbolt in Cimarron, NM, or at least two years ago there was when I was there.

Tucumcari has an STH-10 and a couple 1003s.

I hate to bump old topics, especially this one since the trip happened last year. Goddard Enterprises installed Equinox sirens in Tucumcari earlier this year. It's kind of interesting since these are kind of like the Hornets of Federal Signal - rare but still being made. There aren't any videos of them running online yet.

Sad to see the 1003's go! Would be neat to hear the new ones, but they are just 508's in a different body.
