DeSoto, Duncanville, and Cedar Hill TX Siren Test Undetermined

Fri Apr 14, 2017 2:12 am

So I'd read on the news these three cities were supposed to test at 2pm on Thursday April 13th. If anyone has any knowledge in to when or if they will test again please post here. Thanks in advance. The test was cancelled due to cloud cover.

They'll probably wait until next month.

They need to test the sirens because all 3 cities have a company (I forget the name) that tests the sirens and they want to make sure it is ready for severe weather.

Huh I thought each municipality test their own from a base location? They may try again next Wednesday if the weather is clear and if they feel they really need to test them.
