Yeah, it was repainted in 2016 or so if I recall correctly. The one at the Service Buildng near the high school is the white one; its kind of rusty and sounds a little sluggish. Both are single tone models and have 6M blowers. This one runs at full power though; I tried to get a video of it but they changed their test time to the second Saturday at noon instead of the usual first Saturday; I posted a topic about the change; so I plan on filming this one and leaving a recorder at one of their numerous Model 7AT's in February or March.

Doesn’t affect the operation. Rotators have been long busted anyways and there’s no plans to fix them since they still cover the areas they need to as they’ve been rotated to the directions that need siren coverage.

Here’s another one of Independence’s sirens, a Federal Sign and Signal Model 7AT Siren Located on Dalebrook Rd. in a residential neighborhood. This unit was recently refurbished by the service department and subsequently placed back online once refurbishing and repainting was finished. The white one is located at Brecksville Rd. and Kleber Ct., and was last filmed by evanthefuturedude in 2009. I plan to get both filmed by Spring. The white one is also a Model 7AT and hasn’t been repainted yet.
