Flue Caps / Vent Caps Identical to Model 2 shrouds

Wed Mar 01, 2017 9:04 pm

So down my street, there are houses that have flue caps that look exactly like the shroud of a Federal Model 2, except that the tops are flat. Can anybody tell me what these caps are called? I would like to make a custom housing for my VES-145, or another siren like a Model A (L, or D, or J) if I ever get one. or if I ever get a Model 2, and it did not come with the shroud.

I don't know what they are called, but I'm not surprised to see something like that because the Model 2 is pretty much a vent with a motor in it.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
