The big vented blower boxes were from the 50s I believe.

Only on the 2000 models though. The standard 1000s had a run of the mill blower box. Nothing special, it was just a box.

The vented boxes were used for the 4M blowers and the 2000s. The 5 and 6M blowers I do not believe we're vented.

The only blower box with a vent on the side is the 2000 blower box. The standard A1 and early A2 blowers did not have any vents. The later A2, B, and C series thunderbolts all have vents on the end.

On the SIDE. I totally missed that. Sorry. Yes 2000 had vents on the side. And the 4M had it on the back... I think I explained and am with everyone now XD

Forgive my saying that the seller probably has more than one screw loose if he thinks he's gonna get $5k for that siren.
Yeah. That's a new one for me. I've
never seen an eBay seller more than double a price after something didn't sell.

First time for everything eh? Yea I was going to mention that too but I also wanted to add: perhaps if he's doing an auction or something he might have started the bids higher... but it still doesn't seem like a good move...

You never know if the seller is good or bad. The siren could be a lemon when he says it works fine.

This guys is absolutely crazy if he thinks that he is going to get that kind of money for that siren without the controller, and the original blower system. This is nothing more than on old Thunderbolt 1000, I don't care what that tag has to say about it to be honest. You'll have one heck of a time fixing those cracks in the horn too. I don't know what logic he is going on, but upping the price after he tried to sell it once is no way to sell something.
