*thumpity bump bump bump*

A couple of recent photos from my travels...

During a recent trip to Richmond I stopped by this star-spangled Model 5 at the Wagstaff Circle VFD. It is one of several old fire sirens left in Chesterfield County, all but one of which are long disconnected.

On the way back from said trip I also visited this Surry 2906 off US 60 in Williamsburg. Once upon a time a 10V2T sat on the shorter pole next to it.

I ran across this cute little Model 2 in downtown Newport News today while driving around after filming the ambiance I posted in the A/V forum. Unfortunately I didn't have my usual camera on me, so the pictures are a bit on the mediocre side. I intend to get better shots of it on Saturday...perhaps even a walkaround. Who knows.

Based on the 1964 OCD list, I believe this is one of the city's original CD sirens.

Don't wait. Take a siren photo today.

Yep. I believe it's an Alertronic AL-6000R. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I know I posted these boxes earlier, but they're being reinstalled in a new building. When the Sentry 7v8 goes up, I'll document and post the install.

This siren is no longer in use, replaced by a Sterling M5/10? It sits atop Iliff Colorado's water tower. I'm guessing it's a old federal/fedelcode with a janky housing.

Why in the world did you repost month old images from another thread?

In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!
