I still think our hodgepodge of sirens here in Amarillo makes a good, chaotic ambiance.

The "Onthehill" recording is a real classic, Mike Stalnecker recorded those sirens from his fire department (Pine Grove, Pa) and wound up winning the very first warningsirens.org siren contest with that recording. I lost my copy right after they got reposted and I never got to download it again, one of the best recordings out there in my book though!

Fostoria OH the 4/5 bolt, 2 5/6 bolts, the 3012 and the Roundbacks. When everything works that is, then their ambiance is awesome

Surprisingly, as far as the search bar determines, nobody has posted this one yet. Here is an ambience of downtown Cincinnati's old siren system. You can clearly hear the high pitched 1000, 4/5 port 1000T, a few additional Thunderbolts, some T-128s, a 2001 or two, and (faintly) Newport, Kentucky's Modulator 2008s running alternate wail.

P.S. Modulators, (get it?), I am sorry if this has already been posted. I just don't feel like looking through 16 pages lol.

Forgot to add this one, but I think it sounds pretty creepy. Federal Signal 2001s sounding off in Indianapolis for the tornado warning on May 22nd, 2011 (same parent storm that produced the EF-5 in Joplin.) I counted at least 5 sirens being heard winding up at the beginning

from Doerun, Georgia. Or as I prefer: "The Toluca, IL of the South". It's a small town that is 1.3 sq. mi. with 770 people. Siren wise, it has the 5 shown in the video, a Sterling M-10, and a Sentry 3v8-H

This video from Stonington, IL is one of my all-time favorites. How could anyone not love this ambience?
