It's not a Banshee or a Screamer, it's an ACA Cyclone 120 (or was it 125?).

Well, I don't have a video, but I am going to try to get one. Crane MO has 3 Thunderbolts, a Darley champion, and a Allertor. The Darley champion is about 300 ft away from one of the thunderbolts. To give you guys a idea of how big crane is, the town is about 2 miles tall and 1 mile wide. Anybody think that that is a awesome ambience?

Yeah. That is way overkill for a town of it's size, considering how loud a Thunderbolt can be, anywhere from 125 Db's to 131 Db's. Even having the Allertor there is just ridiculous. But the ambiance would sound amazing.

I think the thunderbolt high-low ambiance in Valley Springs, South Dakota.
Honestly I think the malfunctioning high-low should have been an original tone as for it is quite creepy.

Our 2001s and Whelens are mounted as low, if not lower than that 2001. Nothing can beat the Modulator 1004 in Fife though...

I hate to go off-topic here, but that bit at the end's the first time I've ever actually seen how the 3T22 dampers operate. It's pretty much how I expected--and it makes me curious. With the 1003, I assume the dampers just close the port to the horn, since the Thunderbolt uses the single-port stator?

The slot in the Thunderbolt stator is split in half. The top half emits the high tone while the bottom half emits the low. The solenoids alternately close off these halves, producing a high-low note.

I have always liked Jeb's HD recording of an 8/12 Allertor going off. The way it sounds, in my opinion, makes it sound like a vintage recording from the '70s, which i think is pretty cool. If I am not mistaken, the siren is the old one from the Olson School in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I didnt know that was taken down already...and I think it's an 8/12, not a 10/12. Still rare and good though.
