Also, 140 dB!?! Is that using the same decibel system that us Americans use?
It says on the website "@1m" when most US sirens are measured from 30m, AKA 100 feet.

Lion King Signal sells a lot of real sirens that you will see around China, but they also sell to the export market. Those little grey and red 12-24v sirens you see on eBay are made by LKS. So are those red plastic hand crank sirens (which I own, they are quite nice).

Europe, the UK and Asia tend to take their measurements at 1 meter for some reason.

Meant to reply earlier. I got scared away from their website by some creepy pop-ups that were asking me for my name, address, and phone number, so I didn't see where it said that they take their measurements from 1 meter. Unfortunately, I don't know how you'd figure out what the rating would be from 30 meters/100 feet (I'm lost when it comes to math...), so I have to leave them off the list for now.

Does anybody know the dB level of a Federal Electric Type B?

Sorry for the bump. But I just wanted to mention in regards to this thunderbolt thing that the 4M 1000T is the quietest of the thunderbolts while at 125-126 DB @100 feet and the 5M 1000 is the loudest at around 130-132. (The 4M has 260 CFM and the 5M 1000 is 320. A whole 60 more CFM.) The 5M 1000T I believe is around 128-129? Would have to look again.

Did anyone figure out the DB rating for the Thunderbolts with 6M blowers?
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I could try to get that for you. I believe Murrfarms said that had 290 CFM? 280? So lets say it's 280 because I believe that is what it was that's 20 more CFM and the 5M blower has 60 more CFM. The 4M thunderbolt 1000 is 127 DB @100 and let's just keep the 5M at 130. It might make a little more than that but lets just say 130. That's 3 more DB with 60 CFM. With those numbers and not actually doing the math I would guess somewhere around 128-129 for a 1000. The 1000T being 1DB quieter... supposedly.

Getting 130 out of a 1000T is very hard. I'm not sure if the 5M blowers are actually louder or if it's the buzz they have that makes them seem louder.

A 1000, a Vortex R-4, and a RM-127 are all pretty much equal.

I hear that. On a 1000T they do have quite a buzz. I have an interesting thought though: As much as the Youtube "experts" disagree with this, a hurricane 130 actually doesn't seem louder to me than the 5M single tone 1000 at close range. I am sure it has a further 70DB but it just didn't seem louder. Maybe it's the thunderbolts adjustable chopper level? Or perhaps ACA like FS inflated the 130 Db rating a bit eh?
