Most of these were obtained from the company websites (Though for some reason I cannot access the Whelen company page, that's why I don't have any on this list.), or from other various places online. However, it's far from complete, so I'll need YOUR help to finish it. If you guys would be so kind as to give me the decibel ratings of any siren that you know of that isn't on this list, I will add them.

Much appreciated!

Thought a Thunderbolt 1000 was over 126.... Isn't 126 the 1000T?

Federal seems to have most always falsely advertised Thunderbolts and a few others decibel ratings. Dane County, Wisconsin measures each of their sirens at eye level 100 feet away, and they only seem to got 125 out of each of their Thunderbolts.

I believe the Federal Signal STH-10 was rated at 115. My former city of residence, Smyrna, GA, installed a system of those sirens. They had a GREAT sound.

A few more to add;

2/3T22 are 115

EOWS 115 is obvious, 1212 is the same rating

I think Federal falsely advertised the 612, because Dane County got 124 out of their 612s. I remember seeing some brochures for the 408 and 812, which showed the 408 being 128, and 812 being 132, and there's no way that's correct. :?

ACA P-10 is 125

ACA P-15/ASC RM-127 is obvious

ACA PN-20/ASC RM-130 is obvious

ACA also made an Allertor 130 model, decibels is obvious

Sentry Defender is 127

There's no way Federal is correct or Dane County is correct?
Is Dane County the final authority on siren sound level measurement?
How do we know they are measuring it correctly?
Hmmmmmm.......
