Road trip to Springfield IL, and some new toys

Wed Jul 06, 2011 2:16 am

Well, as most of you know already if you are friends with me on FB, I took a trip to Springfield to pick up three sirens that I purchased at a city auction not to long ago. Though it was a short trip, traffic and road construction made it difficult. Anyways, when I got there this is what I saw. Reminder: All these sirens have been spoken for

Now for what I took home, below are pictures of the Model 2T, Model 3 and Thunderbolt 1000BT that I bought. They are all in excellent shape, motor-wise. They were just refurbed 3-4 years ago by the city.

Don't have very many photos of the thunderbolt yet, since I have no idea what I'm going to do with it at the moment. I'll post more tomorrow.

That 2T will probably become your favorite siren. I've heard and owned lots of them but the 2T is still my favorite.

I'd kill for one of those single phase blowers...
Kicking it in the siren party since '08

Read the bold text at the top, buddy. They went for around $30 though.

Where are you storing all of these? Gonna build a soundproof basement? O:
The sniper rifle. For when you want to reach out and touch someone. Like blow their head off.
