Absolutely 100%. Its rotating, too, so we're talking 4000 series. The one closest is on the 465 hz tone chip and I can hear a second one in the distance on the 440 hz chip. I have to wonder if this is from Columbus, OH. Did they get warned today?
Mods in wail.
I'm calling 465 hz Whelen on this one. The pitch doesn't sound quite right to be a T-128. Most T-128s are slightly higher pitched. Compare this video to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k72Xi7zPEBM
My favorite video of the bunch, I think. Those 2001s can really get creepy when the weather is poor. It doesn't hurt that you see the darn thing for half the video :-P

LOL: 'a real tornado siren during a real tornado warning'. This guy needs to calm down. And, I hate when people film the tv screen.

-sigh- Not a single Thunderbolt to be heard going off... 'tis sad, 'tis sad...

Thanks for sharing these videos, tho! :)
Viva la Thunderbolt!

The MTSU siren is definately a whelen. That was confirmed last year when the tornado moved through Murfreesboro. I agree that the T-128 video is in fact a T-128. Listen closely its rotating, not oscillating, and the pitch is spot on

The one in New Whiteland sounds like some sort of 8/12 port siren to me. I'm trying to find it on Google Maps, but they don't have enough coverage in the street view and Bing Maps has a bird's eye view, but it doesn't feel like functioning properly.

EDIT: http://www.jmarcoz.com/sirens/newwhiteland1_in.jpg

Possibly a Sentry.
The sniper rifle. For when you want to reach out and touch someone. Like blow their head off.
