Sourh Milford, IN STL-10 weekly test - 11/18/2017

Sat Nov 18, 2017 6:24 pm

Went to an STL-10 for LaGrange County's first weekly test. Rained so hard and there was thunder and lightning, I almost thought the county was ditching the test.

In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!

A rather low pitched STL-10. 2001 sirens are popping up EVERYWHERE!

You call that low pitched? That's as high as an STL-10 can go! It is three phase after all.

I concur, but the way the motor looks suggests it's single phase.

There are a few STL-10A videos out with those motors on them. I think they are GE, as the later models used Marathon motors on them. Might have got my motor facts a little mixed up though.
