I got pictures of quite a few cool sirens on my way to and in Texas. I don't feel like posting all the photos here because it would be a huge pain so let me just put a link to a Flickr album. I'm very impressed with some of the rare sirens I saw, mainly the Sparton siren.

Very cool! However, the last picture is marked incorrectly as an STH-10.

It is actually correctly marked as an STH-10. An STL-10 has 7 horns, notice this has 6, and notice all the ports between the horns. It is definitely an STH-10.

Nice pics. I wonder what the spartan siren sounds like? Could you tell if it was still active?
Unfortunately that Sparton next to the STH-10 was disconnected, I could see the hanging wires.

Hate to burst your bubble but that is indeed a Denver in Krum. Denvers have a cast iron plate for a base as well as a motor connected to the chopper via. shaft like this siren. It is missing the motor cover however. Plus, that looks nothing like a Type B. Compare:

Brendan is right, also the Denver is right next to the Arbucke Historical Society in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
