Recently I decided to make a video of my Carter Minimite sirens. & I have 2 of them disassembled to show the rotors, stators, motors, motor holders & bases I also got a 12 volt model CDA railway transformer to run one of them in the video to get windups & coast downs like on the big sirens. I mainly ran it at 5 to 6 volts to get the pitch a full size siren makes like a 8 port Mobil Directo. The 12 volt Minimite ran in the video is one of my newest ones I received recently & was made on the 27th of October 1978. Near the end of the video I crank the late 70s Minimite up to full 12 volts & it screamed.
