Love that reverb! Would make a perfect recording sample for a horror film!

Hi am new to the board.

I know this is an older post but I've been on a siren search.
My family and I would love to see this siren in action and have actually visited it recently but didn't even know it was still in use! Could you please tell me what time/day this sounds off?

This sounds every Wednesday around noon. Not sure if it has been replaced. Anyone know?

Whammy P-50 I can relate to your signature, except the fact that I don't have a girlfriend. :(
Welcome to Pennsylvania, where test days are few and far between. However, where there is one, you can find the recordings here! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTiIF1 ... q5mZXtMDnw

Now that's a cool timing protocol to use with a Sentry. I would like to hear one in something like 4/4 or 4/8. I love the sound that Sentry sirens produce - their unique tone likely having something to do with how tall the rotors are. Sweet video, Tom!

You can buy any radio you want, just don't buy a Baofeng and call it a scanner.

Nope. Still there. Just went through GTown and there's also a brand spanking new 508 downtown at the library. Not sure if that's the only new siren but it was a surprise.

What do you mean sir? (Not trying to be off topic ;) !) All I mean is that both the dispatchers of my city and me are both irresponsible by sleeping during an emergency (don't know if they actually sleep or they just don't care about our safety)!!! (That's why at the end it says "if ya know what I mean" because I knew some people might be confused) Back to the main topic now......
