It replaced an old dual toned Sterling M-10 a while back, so I guess they wanted to keep that old sound with a more modern, battery-powered siren. Sounds like those batteries are about done for though. On a side note, they also have a bunch of 7V8-Bs scattered around the outskirts of town.

Anyway, I went by there the other day.. and the side of the siren reads "15V2T-B", rather than 16V(whatever)T-B. I got a good photo showing it, will probably post later.
