Dad said the sirens didn't seem to be as loud last time they sounded a warning cause the Spanish Pond rd siren wasn't rotating anymore.

Doesn't Whelen still make parts for the 3016?

This one is at Bellefountaine Rd and Redman Rd. Picture quality isn't that good because I took it with my Itouch.

There is one by Twillman school on Bellefoutaine rd. Another on Lindbergh in front of Behlmann Farms near a 3016 that still has the civil defense logo on it. We saw another on Columbia bottoms road near Hobath Dr.

How come they are not connected to the power lines?

We saw another one at Bellefontaine Rd and Redman Ave right in front of Twillman school. Like the kids in school need a siren to warn them when the office has a weather radio.

my elementary school had IBM alarm boxes. The boxes had a glass bar below the lever which I believe had ink in it for marking whoever pulled it.

My high school had alarm boxes in enclosed boxes. You had to open the door to get to the lever.

I noticed that too. Didn't hear as many sirens as usual I think one or two in the area have died.
