I thought I heard the new one at Bellefoutine and Redman. I didn't hear any old ones unless they installed another one nearby and tested it after ward.

Did anyone else hear the new ones being tested at 9:00 am today? They usually test the sirens at 11:00 am the first monday of each month.

Did anyone see the news on channel 5 tonight? They showed a broken siren being hauled off it looked like it might have been the T-bolt.

If the weather keeps up the remaining 3016s my wear out before the new system replaces them. Did any new sirens get hit? Sad to hear the thunderbolt got blown down maybe tornadoes don't like them.

How do they start the sirens in St. Louis County? On some siren videos in some places people have scanners and you hear what sounds like a touch tone phone used to start the sirens. Do they do that here?

Sirens in St. Louis County went off three times last night. Those old Whelen 3016s are getting a workout.

Mine I recorded in North St. Louis County. Closest siren is Whelen 3016 at Trampe and Trampe heights. Some other 3016s and a 4000 are heard in the background. I also heard a non rotating siren could it be the 2910 at Bellefountaine and Redman?

There are only two new sirens in Spanish Lake that I know off.

One at Trampe and Bellefountaine rd and another on Columbia Bottoms road near Hobath Dr. If thats all the new sirens their gonna install around here we are going to have lousy coverage.
