Most likely. The only "cloth" wiring i know of in the last 20 years is fire resistant.

Mmm hmm! Oh and to answer your other question no the hurricane doesn't sound rhaspy because of that. The hurricane is actually a 2 chopper siren with a 30 HP blower and a bigger siren head. What gives Tbolts there "roar"?

ThisTbolt sound "flat compared to thisTbolt. What causes this?

I get that the 1000 is single tone and the 1000t is dual but what causes this?
EDIT:Is this also why the ACA Hurricane 130 MKII sounds "raspy"

I've been to the Hermiston rail yard several times and have not seen any sirens. Umatilla County removed all the Whelens in 2011 when the last of the chemical weapons at the army depot were destroyed. I'll have to go back there and look again. However, I am quite sure that if there is a siren there...
