I'm going to change the rotator filters to amber and put these on my truck, as well as concealed strobes (I have a Whelen UPS-64C). I think they should check out the American Signal I-Force Systems. They have better voice intelligibility and would cost less. OU could probably have more units for the same price Fed Sig is asking.

If the bulbs arent working, use a ohm meter and measure across each bulb (disconnected from the beacon) to verify filament continuity. Otherwise, the brush contact that transfers power to the lamps as it rotates may need adjustment or cleaning. By the way, here's another pic of a actual MARS light. ...

Great pictures! Yes, the storm does give the pictures an ominous feel. That was kinda what I was going for....I was trying to get out two minutes earlier when it was just west of me, the horizon was almost gray/black, but my wife got to yapping when I was explaining why I was driving up the street ...
