Why would some towns have two or more sirens next/close together? I think its pointless; they should either move one siren or get rid of it

wood county ohio did alt wail & alt steady up until the late 1980s/very early 1990s

before siren tests were moved from 1st friday of month to 1st saturday of month (around 1989) (still @10AM)

their tests were about 9-15 min long

I’ve seen 3T22s, and they are pretty nice to take care of. Although I don’t have one, I have seen many enthusiasts restore sirens like this. One example is a 2T22B in Rhine, GA.
