Red, do all new locomotives have a push button horn button which actuates an electric valve? It is either off or completely open. I am engineer for the BNSF. ALot of the old engines have half arse whistles and really dont make much noise and provide no warning at crossings. THe newer locomotives are REAL loud

I saw some pics in some other threads where people have them mounted right on their decks. I want to see some more pictures and lets see some video of you just firing them up randmonly. If I had one i'd be in jail LOL. Isnt that freakin loud in your house?

So it sounds like you are near a Thunderbolt or Hurricane. I guess they could keep the blower off for testing seems how older controls had switches for what was to be on.
