https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WRE6KxO3c0Q&fbclid=IwAR2wWotTLwf6nygUAprqzL5BmcefmpsKFtRaMyBDKJcOLdinnxdexIcDonE Here ya go y’all. Was finally able to get another siren test this year. I’ve got a few shorter test videos that I’ve posted in various places but they definitely were not YouTube worthy...

Re: Trojan WS-3000

welcome to the "siren owners of the northwest" club! A few years ago there was actually a lot of confusion in longview about who owned the sirens. So after many phone calls, a document from PGE was sent over and that got released to longview who removed 2 thunderbolt sirens that were in da...

Re: San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) former mystery/custom engineered siren FOUND!!!!

Wow. What can I even say apart from that? What blower did it have originally? Bump, haven't been on ARS in a while now since I'm mostly active on the Siren Enthusiasts Facebook page, but its original blower is a Paxton model RM-97 centrifugal blower. The blower isn't made anymore, but you can alway...

Re: Trojan Nuclear Power Plant Siren Article

The link to the pdf was fine, all the others though were 404. Thanks for the new link, also the Bolt along Alston-Mayger road in Oregon is actually a 1000A, not a B. I went there and all the wiring was 3 phase and the tag on it said 3 phase, which means the one in Quincy is probably 3-phase too. I ...

Re: SIRENCON 2021 - AUGUST 28 - BE THERE!

So I am a truck driver now and I may actually be able to come to this!!! But here is the catch: I won’t be able to bring either of my sirens... (one of them doesn’t have a blower and the other I’m a bit nervous to run anyways considering she has some light warping...)

Re: Astoria, Oregon Thunderbolt?

I’ve looked for it for years. An old friend of mine (who lied to me a couple of times so I’m taking it with a grain of salt...) said that she saw it. As for active thunderbolts in Oregon, the clatskanie fire district has a couple...

Re: 3T22 Sandy, Oregon

The Sandy 3T22 has been removed :( , when I go through the street view timeline it just disappears between April and may of 2018 when they renovated the station. I have also gone past the station multiple times and even stopped at it and searched, nothing. Sad, I think it was one of the only active...

Re: Stevenson, Washington's Thunderbolt

This siren is not active. The OP and I (while on a train outing) stopped and saw it. It is rotated a different way but that’s been confirmed to be the wind. However, once they build the new station, they’re talking about putting her back in service.

Re: Thunderbolts in existence

You’re doing privately owned ones now? I guess that makes sense considering it’s all thunderbolts in existence. The approximate location for mine is east Portland OR.
