Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Does anybody know why Franklin County discontinued The Voice in 2018/2017 Holy bump, batman... They stopped it due to confusion/ it being an unnecessary part of the test that lengthened it, and many could not hear the voice announcements. I believe that the EMA director that did the voice retired a...

Re: Weird Siren I saw on google.

The sound measurements may have been taken very close to the unit, probably only a few feet instead of 100 like most sirens. This looks to be fire/security related.

Re: The Ohio Statewide Siren "SuperMap"

My opinion is that most of the Michigan maps are accurate enough that we don’t need a “super map” for this state. Since constant revisions are still happening on the biggest one, having a second or third one with the same information seems a bit superfluous.

Re: dual tone ASC OM-117 ?

Re: Fayette County KY Siren Info/History

*I think some of the dates are wrong. I didn't think the WS-2000 series was introduced until 1981 or 82 (you say the last was installed in 1980 and its possible). I don't have the knowledge to question the EM here, though. But even a quick look reveals errors: take Castlewood Park for instance. How...
