Why were they all taken down? Did the VFDs close or something?

I saw the spot on the roof that looked to be made for a Sterling of some kind.

As I said, the Whelens I saw near Miami are part of the Turkey Point system. :vortex:

When I was on vacation in Key West last December, I looked for sirens, but I didn't see any. I only saw some of the Turkey Point Whelens nearby. Kinda worries me if a Hurricane comes along.

I also remember seeing a newer Model 2 by a launch pad near the Vehicle Assy. Bldg. There were no signs of the old bansh...
