Iceland does not have a standing army, and their chances of any arms conflict in the country are probably limited. I'm not sure of what natural disasters the county is prone to, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have any sirens besides the small VFD or something.

I was streetviewing around tonight on the Midway Island and found what appears to be a Sentry. A newer sentry at that! I know the US Dept of Wildlife has some work on the island, but I don't know of any military activities that take place on the island anymore. Wonder what the siren is used for. htt...

Moved and here's the ambiance from my new place. I'm a little over half a mile from the nearest Eclipse, four blocks away from a Modulator (5 cell?) and a little over half a mile from a 2001. Some days I hear the Eclipse loud and clear, some days It's the modulator. Luckily today it was the Eclipse....
