I remember that sd-10 years ago. I think it was on Bailey St. By the Jr high school. I have been told that when a storm would come up, they would send someone to the site and have to manually turn it on. Now with the 2001 there it's all radio controlled now.

The still use the 1003 for fire alert. A dispatcher told me though that in the event of a tornado warning the tbolt as well as the others will go off. The 1003 will still do the hi-lo signal. Supposedly the alert mode does not work on it.

I believe Krum Tx still has one on the water tower next to the fire station. It's been a few years since I been there.

If I am not mistaken, I believe Krum Texas has one by the Fire Department.

I know Wichita Falls sets there's off on the first Monday at noon, as well as Electra and Burkburnett. Iowa Park is either the last Friday or Saturday. Archer City if someone is in the office does first Monday at noon as well.
