Train Horn Range?
I was wondering, what is the furthest a train horn can be heard from? I'm guessing at least a few miles, but I'm not sure.

It's cool that it's mounted on a light pole, never seen that before.
EDIT: Or did they mount a light on the siren pole?

That sure looks like a Model 2, but I'm not sure of the purpose of whatever is in place of the middle louver.

It looks like a Sterling or Model B, but the streetview is too grainy to tell.

I found a siren in Maywood, NE. It has an enclosure that reminds me of a Sterling, but I'm not sure.
