DTMF SiraTrol fun features

There's not a whole lot of talk about the old Federal SiraTrol equipment, but I want to shed some light on the DTMF variant, because these units had some very cool tricks up their sleeves. A lot of this information can be read in the manual for it, which I recommend brushing through if you have some...

Oh interesting, that's actually an add-on for FSK two way functionality with newer control systems. Glad you have it though. Was worried that you picked up a controller with no CPU.

Re: federal signal fc fcm controller to whelen driver

this is the fc controller has two inverted vga ports First things first, did you intentionally remove the CPU? That board does not have a CPU in it, and well that means it's a paperweight if you don't have it. If you do have it, then great! We can move on. That's a first generation FC, so all you n...

Re: federal signal fc fcm controller to whelen driver

The FC is able to produce electronic signals as you've probably already figured out, but in order to access them, the controller has to be reprogrammed to do so. If you don't mind, drop a photo of your FC board so we can see what revision the board is because the older boards use a different program...

Re: Oddball EOWS 612

This is the last 612 Hawaii ever installed. It was installed in the valley as a directional array instead of a DSA. It never rotated and the solar panel was installed that way on purpose. It's just a really big DSA. As far as I'm aware, this will be the only 612 Hawaii will keep in their system once...

Re: First Ever Real Life Recordings of Whelen's Continuous Air Horn and Gas Proof Protection Tones?

That first video isn't actually a Whelen controller. That's an audio file being broadcast through what I suspect is a Federal UV controller.

Re: Introducing "Classic Siren Recordings"

If there is a video that is already common on Youtube or is your video, let me know and I can take it down. Honestly I feel like you should upload copies of them just for the sake of having a backup. Channels and videos over the years have just mysteriously vanished and it would be nice to have an ...

My friend 4j25 spotted these either last year or the year before last. I've had them on my maps for a while.
I didnt see it on your map, if you're not aware of it, here's a 1212 in Medora North Dakota.
