Start small, don't go big. I went full on Modulator 6048....and it's going to be recycled as soon as I'm able. I'm in waaaay over my head with the controls, amps, etc.
Does that happen to be one of the Gainesville units?

Re: Looking for a controller for Darley STH-10B

Thank you for the replies guys. So it looks like i'll be building my own controller. The biggest challenge i'm finding is finding a soft starter that is rated for 60 amps & single phase. Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc don't make any for those specs but i might have found one made by Car...

Re: Siren pictures website

Woah. That is a site I have not seen in a long long time. I remember looking at that 10+ years ago. Had completely forgotten about it.

Looks like I gotta start checking tags. Knowing this, I guarantee at least half of O’ahu’s 3012’s are actually 3024H’s.
I don't doubt it at all really. I've suspected the same thing, but refrained from changing names on anything without 100% proof that each unit was or wasn't a 3024.

Re: Federal Signal “MOD3024H”

Funny you mention this, because I was going to say something about it in your 1212 topic, but didn't bother because it wasn't relevant. Federal Signal started building these in 2002 I think? Not 100% sure, it's been a while since I looked at it. Hawaii was a pretty big customer for them, almost excl...

Re: Federal Signal EOWS 1212 - 1 minute alert

It's low tone dominant because only 4 of the speakers is running the high tone and the other 8 are running the low tone. The UltraVoice can't spread out the tone because of it's design. Each amp is mono 400W. The SiraTone amps were mono 200W, allowing an even 3/3 split. Mahalo for the info Tyler, t...

No. That system was replaced in the early 2000s. The system overall as well as the plant is now decommissioned as of 2019 if I recall correctly.
