There was a video of it failing back in 2017, midway through the test it stopped rotating. I would assume it kept throwing belts because of a bent pulley or shaft.

I'm not sure, definitely a CLM of some kind. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's a 20/24 judging from the size of the box.

This is the only photo I have that shows the chopper of a later model hurricane, earlier ones were straight vane and had a can style housing around the motor. It was in Garland TX. It is not my photo.

I don't believe Scream-Master made rotating sirens, but they did distribute the 500-DHTT. There was a 500-DHTT near Denver that was mounted on a Scream-Master pole. Your right, Scream-Master did distribute Federal products, Colorado Springs is a good example. Here's some information about their sys...

They did not have a rotator, they were a stationary siren. That unit was located in Merced, California.
