Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I'm still kind of surprised that Werden didn't get the Thunderbolt from atop Hudy...although it was probably in pretty rough shape after sitting idle for 30 years. Removal would have been a pain as well.

Re: Illinois sirens

I'm in Kankakee for the weekend and spotted this 1003 while doing some bus hunting in St. Anne. It's mounted on top of what I think is the old fire station in the center of town.

Re: Miscellaneous Siren Photos Thread

A few sirens from along the Kentucky riverfront. No idea what the active status of these are. The four-horned speaker is a solar-powered unit - there were several of them installed in Carroll County in 2013. Not sure who makes them. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4573/24533303128_b5771a84d3_b.jpg AC...

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

Just making sure you all are aware of this one, located on Stillmeadow Drive in Amelia (Clermont County). Did you see the new 1000 up the road? Nope, didn't see that one. Will keep an eye out next time I go that way. A couple of sirens from New Richmond. No idea if these are active or not. https://...

Re: Park place at lytle thunderbolt 1000.

When the answer to "what do you plan to do with it?" is "just look at it", there's a good chance that someone other than you could make good use of it.
