Since it has been bumped, I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the supposed single tone Klaxon that's the siren operating the audio? I'm not sure if I asked this question anywhere else.

That Super Sirex wouldn't be very loud. They only stuck the intakes out of the tower.

The Super Sirex is a legendary siren. It was a known powerful beast at the time. The City of Chicago has installed 5 during the 1950's. It's crazy that it was supposedly hear throughout the entire island of Guam! Sure has a great history. Sad that it seems to be missing the rotator. Wonder what happ...

The old PN-20 siren has been taken by Braniff. It is up to them as to it's disposition. It will most likely be scrapped. When taking it down squirrels ran out of it. From what I remember, Braniff will scrap any old sirens they take down to prevent them from being refurbished and sold elsewhere, as ...

Oh now that's awesome!! Yellow looks fantastic on a 508. They should come standard in this color. Just imagine a giant Civil Defense sticker slapped on the back

I still find it crazy that they bought two different electronic sirens before the Whelens. I think you mentioned they still silent test the Modulator system correct?
