What kind of siren is it?

Jeb, would it be possible to swap the stator/rotor combo onto a sd10 type motor? or are the stator mounting locations different? just curious...... I was thinking the exact same thing. I've always wanted to hear a 10/12 SD-10. Honestly, I'm damn near obsessed with combined-rotor 10/12 port sirens, ...

Why, yes...yes I have. But, I had a new rotor machined to have 5 vanes. Sounds just like Adam's. Thanks to Adam for the idea. I am giving it to my brother for his house. I'd like to hear it! Also, did the rest of you guys see the date of the original post and the reply? They are two years apart.

It sounds like a Federal to me. There's another video with like a 1.5 second windup clip spliced into it from very close by, and it sounded like an SD-10 if I've ever heard one.

Just stumbled across this. It's silver, and there is a CLM sitting right beside it so I'd say it's probably Canadian. The methods they use to spin the thing up are pretty interesting.
